CREATIVITY AND COMMUNITY
Kierra Korpolinski is an interdisciplinary artist currently getting their Studio Arts degree at Florida State University. Mostly working within printmaking and ceramic practices, they have a passion for experimenting with as many forms of creating as possible. Kierra's love for the arts developed as a child, but they pursued mathematics and engineering until their later years of college.
Recently they began working as a studio hand at FSU’s Ceramic and Print Studios as well as at Lafayette Arts & Crafts Studio as an instructor, emphasizing the engagement of teaching, as well as the importance of community within an artist's space. This shifted their focus to something that excited them; creating and giving space for others to create. Long-term, they would like to host events at a studio/lab where they can provide open studio hours, classes, and workshops to teach and support those who are in the community.
